This kit is identical to our complete MRI Stereo Sound System kits, without the AM/FM Radio source audio system. If your facility uses 240-volt/50-Hz power or 110-volt/60-Hz power, the Patient Stereo Builder's Kit will be a great addition to your facility. You only need to provide the audio source with a LINE-OUT jack on the back. The LINE-OUT jack (or "REC-OUT") RCA Jack provides a standard audio output that does not change in level when you adjust the volume control on the front of the stereo system.

You simply supply the music source. Some customers may choose to use an iPod or Satellite Radio unit because they provide line-level audio. Others might choose to use a CD-Player or Component Level Sound System. This kit is a very good global solution because it is lighter in weight to ship and can be set to the power for most areas of the world. You just need to supply the AM/FM/CD sound system source. Some of our customers have elected to use a Desktop or Laptop as the source audio, so our installation manual does include the instructions on connecting a computer as a sound source.

Noise Reduction Headphone for MRI Patient Stereo Kits - Part No. NRH-101

• Headphones cup completely around the outside of the ears.
• Helps to block out noise from the MRI scanning system.
• Twin-tubing connects with vinyl tubing coming from the Patient Acoustic Interface, directing the air-driven Pneumatic audio up to two headphone earpieces that cup completely around the ear.
• Each headphone earpiece has a foam eartip that directs the sound right into the ear canal, and this helps to block out noise
• Each earpiece cups completely around the outside of the ear. This headphone is called a Noise Reduction Headphone because it has been designed to block out and absorb an estimated 49 dB of noise through by way of these specially designed features:
  1. Plastic shell earpieces cup completely around the outside of the ear
  2. Foam cushions rest against the head, provide a comfortable fit while sealing out exterior noise
  3. Two layers of foam inside help to absorb and block out a significant amount of noise
  4. Acoustic Foam Eartips direct the audio directly into the ear canal and seal out additional noise

Replacement Headband for Noise Reduction Headphone - Part No. NRH-HB

• This replacement headband is an inexpensive solution to fixing a broken headband
• Fits the Scan Sound MRI Headphone, Part No. NRH-101
• Easily to replace - snaps into place in seconds without any tools
• Just slide the headphone earpieces off the ends of the broken headband, and then slide them on until they snap onto the new headband
• Order a spare headband to have one on hand just in case your headphone headband breaks
