Our newest Earbud is a black colored single Earbud that will really benefit those who must listen to audio in one ear only. Those who are hearing impaired and others who must hear and communicate with those that surround them will all benefit from this dramatic technological audio breakthrough. Our new Single Stereo Earbud utilizes our own patent pending technology and as an added bonus, our Single Stereo Earbud will work with both Stereo and Mono audio sources.
Typically, when you plug a mono Headphone or Earbud into a stereo jack, you will only hear audio in the Left ear, as the Right channel is actually being shorted out. That's not good for your iPod or other stereo devices. Don't let the 3-conductor plug fool you, as this Earbud works equally well as a Single Stereo Earbud or as a Single Mono Earbud.
There are no known Earbuds or Headphones which are commercially made which can work in both Stereo and Mono devices without some kind of a switch. No switch is needed with our streamlined design, and Single Stereo Earbud can be plugged into Mono devices such as Listening Aids (used in many Churches and Theaters), Pocket Talkers, Walkie Talkies, Tape Recorders, Dictation Machines, Portable TV's, Weather Radios, Scanners and AM Radios to function equally well as a Single Mono Earbud.
This new Single Stero Earbud can also be plugged into Stereo devices such as Desktop Computers, Laptop Computers, iPods, MP-3 Players, Stereo Televisions, Treadmill Entertainment Systems, Automobile Entertainment Systems, etc., and it will sum both the Left and Right Channels so that you can hear both channels in a single Earphone.

Compatibility Information (Updated April 14th)
The 1-BUD Classic Earphone is known to have an incompatibility issue at the present time with the Sansa and some Creative brand MP-3 Players. We have developed a 1-BUD Rx that is now available. All of the Pro-Series Earphones are Compatable with ALL MP3 Player Models. Our 1-BUD Classic Earbud (above) has performed extremely well with all Apple iPod MP3 Models, the Apple iPhone 3G and Sony MP-3 Players. |

I ride a Harley and wanted to listen to my MP3 player in one ear and keep the other ear open to hear the sounds of the road, other vehicles, etc. Bought the 1-BUD RX for my Sansa and it worked great! Stereo in one ear! Now I have an Ipod and am ordering 1-BUD Pro. I have recommended this website to everyone that rides with an MP3 player or Ipod. Awesome product! Thanks! |

Thank you Barry for the earphone that you sent to me . It is excellent, the sound is great and it is my favorite way way of listening to the radio and MP3 files as I drive. I assume that you sent it as a replacement for the first one that I bought from you that never functioned properly. I didn't ask for a replacement but you sent one anyway which puts you in a rare class of humans as: a Man of integrity. I was brought up to always deal honorably with people by my father as he was a veteran it seems appropriate to remember him by thanking you for your honorable dealing with your customer this day. I have been called a fool by "friends" acquaintances, and even some of my family (not my father) by always trying to deal fairly with people. As you probably know one can not attribute or claim honor and integrity to ones self it must be attributed by another. Therefore I attribute these qualities to you from my point of view. I hope you continue and prosper in business. |

I have a Pro Tools music studio in my basement and since going deaf in one ear using my 300 hundred dollar sennheiser's to mix music late at night (so I don't keep my wife from sleeping) is worthless, a product like yours would help moniter the mix so much better, I would have to guess about panning channels left and right but I have done this long enough that my imagination will work for that one. Here is just one example of the people I have talked to in message threads. I don't even know this guy but his like a kindred friend just from listenting to his message.
True Toneone: I am deaf in one ear, and I also know many other people who are either deaf or nearly deaf in one ear. For decades I have been frustrated at listening to music through headphones (and now earbuds) and only being able to hear part of the music. Reformatting music into mono doesn't help because the sound quality goes way down. I think it is simple and easy for someone to develop a single earbud and connects both stereo streams of music into the single bud. This would allow all those, like me, who are deaf or nearly deaf in one ear to hear all of the music we love....
...You are the only company I have found that appears to have the perfect product for me and many like me. A friend of mine is a jogger and she is very attractive she no longer wheres her MP3 player because she was attacked on a trail one day near her home. She said if she could have had one ear open she would have heard her attacker and maybe would have avoided being tackled. She was ok because some other people came up and scared the attacker away. I told her about my problem and she said it would solve hers too and she is not even impaired in one ear like me. My son said he would bye one and listen to his MP3 in his car because he could also here what was going on around him while he was driving. This device would appeal to many people. I can't believe somone has not picked up on this idea already. |

I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you for creating a single earbud with stereo sound. I have been without hearing in my left ear since I've been three months old. Since I've never known anything but 95% hearing loss in that ear, it is something I have learned to tolerate. However, after receiving an iPod for my birthday, and listening to only half the music, I decided that enough was enough. I was willing to buy a mono earbud, if only to get all the music in one bud. Sound quality, I thought, was something I was going to have to sacrifice. Then, I stumbled on to your website after a Google search. I am so glad I did. For the first time in my life, I have both channels filtering into my one good ear. It is such a new idea (to me) that I find reasons to listen to my iPod even when I don't have one. The sound quality is fantastic. It isn't tinny in the least . I am pleased and satisifed with the bass and overall richness of the sound. Again, thank you so much. So long as you continue to produce these earbuds, you will have a loyal customer in me. |

I have been telling everyone I know about your ear buds. I use it on a RCA mp3 player and I just love it. I work 10 hour days qnd use it the whole day and the sound is just wonderful. the only problem I have is my ear seams to be smaller that the disk but next time I am going to order the one that fits into the ear canal. I am not sure what you call it.
A co workers son is also deaf in one ear and she is going to order one for his Christmas.
Thank you again for this product I am really enjoying it. Also i want to say how nice the man was that handled my problem with being sent the left ear instead of the right ear. within 3 days the correct one was delivered.

Hi Barry,
Just wanted to let you know I am extremely satisfied with the sound quality of the two different earbuds you sent. It makes a huge difference being able to hear both right and left stereo channels combined to a mono earbud. Its been almost 40 years since I lost my hearing in my left ear, no thanks to the botched operation performed by a Navy surgeon during the Vietnam era. Before that, listening to high fidelity on my Koss earphones through my Eico amp and pre-amp was one of my greatest pleasures. Mono just isn't stereo and one channel stereo almost isn't worth listening to on headphones for the most part.
While I no longer have a discerning ear, what I can tell you is that earbuds are fabulous. I'll be sure to let my local VA hospital in on this find the next time I visit to let them know that your stereo to mono earbuds are available at a fantastically low price. There has got to be more veterans out there like myself.
I've tried them on my Ipod and my Sony Walkman MZ-N505 and they are perfect for my wants and needs. Eventually I'll try them on my other players. I'll for certain be ordering your M-102 earbuds, as well as 1 or 2 spares for the ones I first ordered.
Your earbuds are a fantastic bargain. The frequency response of the earbuds far exceeds that of my hearing range in my "good" ear.
