Most customers can easily determine the cost for their desired products simply by pretending to place an order.
It is very easy for you to determine the costs on your own. You can use the shopping cart system and pretend to place an order to determine the total costs. Here are the steps involved:
- Select the quantity desired and add the items to the cart
- Click on "Go to Cart"
- Enter in your Country, State, City and Zip Code, then click ESTIMATE
- Choose a shipping method and then click "Update Total"
- Review the total amount and print it out if you want a copy of the quote
Customers wishing for Scan Sound to provide them with a formal quotation should contact us and provide a listing of the items and quantities desired, shipping address, billing address, email address and telephone number. We will be happy to determine the costs and send you a formal quotation.
Only orders being shipped to customers in the State of Florida will be charged sales taxes. If your shipping address is in Florida and you are tax exempt, please be sure to contact us and provide your name, company name, address and tax exempt number so that we can enter in (or update) your account so that you are not charged sales tax in the future . If your order is being shipped outside the State of Florida, you will not be charged any sales tax.
PRODUCT SALES AND FULFILLMENT
Scan Sound, Inc. accepts orders from customers all over the world using an online shopping cart system. Scan Sound does not operate a physical store location and the items offered online are stocked at a fulfillment center in Virgina Beach, Virginia. Each weekday morning, all orders in the queue (from the previous day) are pulled from the shelves, packaged, labeled and then shipped out from the fulfillment company based on the customer provided order details. Each of the items shipped are carefully packaged to prevent damage and addresses are double-checked for accuracy to minimize shipment returns. Customers can place their order online or over the phone. After each order is accepted, the customer will receive an email order confirmation information. All of our products are lightweight and can be easily shipped virtually anywhere that is reachable by the common shipping carriers, such as the US Postal Service and Federal Express.
ORDER INFORMATION, RECEIPTS AND TRACKING INFORMATION
Our shopping cart is designed to easily enable customers to log-in and review their orders, payment history and obtain order tracking information at any time, 24-hours a day. Go to any of our web site pages and click on the Log In function at the top of the page. It will ask for your Username and Password. Customers can use this feature to also simiplify the process of placing new orders. The tracking information can be entered at FedEx or through the US Postal Service web sites.
If you need to know the total cost of ordering or shipping any of our items, we suggest that you pretend that you are placing an order and break off the order before you actually enter any payment details. Payments may be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. Business checks, Bank Wire transfers, Government procurement cards and Government commercial credit cards are also accepted. Payments can be made using PayPal as well. We frequently accept purchase orders from established businesses, schools, hospitals, universities, libraries and government agencies. PURCHASE ORDERS ACCEPTED
Scan Sound will accept most Purchase Orders* provided that they meet the minimum requirements (as shown below). Customers submitting a purchase order are encouraged to place their order online (select the "Purchase Order" payment method) then submit a copy of the purchase order number to firstname.lastname@example.org Purchase orders may also be sent by fax to (954) 827-2408. Faxed and Emailed purchase orders require that the products meet the minimum order threshold of at least $34.00.

*All purchase orders that are submitted to Scan Sound must contain the following information:

- eMail Address (used only for order confirmation and shipment tracking information)
- Total of products ordered by Fax or Emailed PO must meet $34.00 threshold
- Unpaid orders will be shipped FedEx Ground so we can obtain proof of delivery and a signature - If you wish to use a 3rd-party shipping account, please follow the instructions below for 3rd-Party Shipping Accounts

3RD-PARTY SHIPPING ACCOUNTS
If a customer requests that the freight be billed to a 3rd-party shipping account, the customer will be required to pay a $3.00 handling fee for each carton. This covers the order processing, product packaging, signature verification, tracking number and shipment pick-up from the fulfillment company warehouse facility. Note: Any orders picked-up from the fulfillment company will also be subject to paying the same $3.00 handling fee. Please keep in mind that once the package has been shipped, the shipping account holder takes on the responsibility for any follow-up with the shipment carrier for any lost or missing packages. If you place an online order and wish the shipping be billed to a 3rd-party account, it is best to choose FedEx Ground and then contact us before the order is shipped to provide the shipping instructions, so that we can modify your order.
All International orders must be paid in advance of the goods being shipped. If you would like, we can send you a PayPal invoice, that will enable you to make payment from your own computer without ever having to share any credit card or personal payment details to Scan Sound, Inc. This is a safe, secure and very easy method for payment. In fact, most customers can select PayPal when checking out, and they can use a credit card to make their payment. This often is the best option for International customers to make payment.
